What type of equipment will l need to complete the courses?

There is no special on-site (at your home) equipment required, other than an

• IBM compatible computer with a 486 or higher processor
• Windows 95 or higher operating system
• 3.5" floppy disk drive
• 12 Mb available hard drive space
• VGA monitor capable of displaying 600 x 800 resolution
• MS Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher with java and cookies enabled.

Netscape Browsers
You can also use the Netscape Browser, however, it should be noted than Netscape 6.0 and higher has been known to have problems loading pages efficiently - 'fast'; and although earlier versions of Netscape may work better, it is still recommended to use MS Internet Explorer 4.01 or higher.

AOL users
AOL users are suggested to open a separate MS Internet Explorer or Netscape browser window after signing in to the AOL account in order to avoid delays and none responsive pages.

Taking the course on a public computer?
MAKE SURE THE COOKIES ARE ERASED AT THE END OF YOUR SESSION SO THAT THE INFORMATION CANNOT BE ACCESSED BY OTHER USERS OF THAT COMPUTER.
