Learn how to access the MLS through downloadable programs and wireless technology. Pocket Real Estate and Pocket Real Estate Wireless will be introduced in this course.


This is a new course that introduces you to the world of computers and the Internet. You will learn basics of adjusting font size on the screen, setting a home page, how to bookmark, how to avoid viruses and do scans. You will learn how to do research on the Internet and the various search engines and how they function. You will learn how to register websites, what HTML is, how to increase your visibility to search engines. You will surf the Internet and we will visit financial service sites, amortization tables, real estate sites that you need to know, how to research recent legislation, how to check on the licensing status of agents, complaint history of agents, DCCA and REC sites. You will know how to find the HCRC webpage, city and county planning department website and do research on properties, zoning, etc. You will be introduced to the city and county tax assessment website, ARELLO, census bureau, Boolean operators, Yahoo map site and finding directions to an appointment, zip code research, HUD properties, FHA mortgage limits, etc. etc. etc. You will be an Internet surf junkie at the end of this great informative class.
